Khokhan is about a rich woman whose daughter is possessed by a djinn. In national mythology the word “khokhan” is understood as a shortened form of “khortdan”, a revenant. To be rid of this misfortune the woman decides to sell the villa they live in, but the djinn prevents the sale from going through. The estate agent handling it offers a reward of one hundred thousand manats to two well-known fortune-tellers — the adventurers Raftar and Gahraman — to drive the djinn out of the girl's body. What happens next, nobody knows.
