The film is dedicated to Aliagha Vahid — lyric poet and master of the ghazal, heir of the great Azerbaijani poet Muhammad Fuzuli. There is no single storyline; even so, the poet's life is followed in chronological order. The authors do not name precisely the people around Vahid: by filming separate moments of his difficult life they sought to create a generalised artistic portrait of him.
