I Am Coming Home is set in the 1990s. Based on real events, it is a film of military patriotism telling the heroic story of Tarlan Seyidzada, who served in the Russian army during Azerbaijan's hardest years. In its eighty-five minutes, the fighter aircraft of the Azerbaijani air force are shown in combat with enemy machines in the sky for the first time.
