Baku, the early twentieth century. The young merchant Asgar (Hasan Mammadov) decides to marry. But unlike the custom of the time, he wants to see the bride before the wedding. What is to be done? His friend Suleyman (Hajimurad Yegizarov) comes to the rescue.
