Is it easy to live a man's life and to be master of one's own word? How should a person find their place? The film answers these questions. Set in a modern Azerbaijani village, it deals with honour, dignity and reputation. For any parent, raising a child who finds a place in society and affirms their own worth is real happiness — but life has laws of its own, and so things do not always turn out as anyone wishes. For the hero Gasim (Ajdar Hamidov), too, life becomes a school of trials.
