Nikolay, right hand of the Russian mob boss Yuri, betrays him, steals the map to the legendary diamond known as the Heart of the East and flees to Istanbul. The map means both fortune and danger, and Yuri sends his men after him at once. The chase that begins in Istanbul's northern woods takes an unexpected turn: the map falls into the hands of three reckless but lucky young Turks — Derya, Tayfun and Sedat. Not realising it is a treasure map, they take it to an Azerbaijani professor living in Istanbul, who works out that the Heart of the East is hidden in the ancient Azerbaijani city of Sheki. The three set off dreaming of riches, but professional hunters are on their trail: Yuri's ruthless men on one side and the Azerbaijani mobster Rustam with his gang on the other. Sheki's old streets, caravanserais and mountain roads fill with chases, blunders and comic confrontations, and nobody behaves as planned — until the Heart of the East springs a final surprise that changes everyone's life.
