Here Ismayil Huseynov is a battalion commander who fights bravely for the liberation of our lands from the Armenian occupiers and is taken prisoner — and even in captivity he does not lose his courage. The events shown are based on real facts. The Khojaly scenes were filmed in Goranboy, at the foot of Murovdagh, and the people of Khojaly seen shot and frozen in the film are in fact residents of Khojaly who had come from there to Goranboy at that time.
