A lonely young man goes to the rubbish dump to look for usable things and finds a mannequin under a heap of refuse. He takes it home, washes and cleans it and dresses it; he cleans himself up too and shaves. Then he takes the mannequin and rides with it on his bicycle among the oil derricks. Unhappily, he drops it into a pool full of oil. The story could have ended sadly — but at that very moment he finds his true love.
