This lyrical story tells of the fate and first love of Mehriban (Raisa Nedashkovskaya), a young woman who finds her place in life. Her love meets difficulties and brings her no joy, yet it does not break her spirit either: the man she loves cannot rise to the level of the person she once carried in her imagination. Even so, Mehriban forces Zakir (Nodar Shashigoghlu), who outwardly resembles that imagined friend, to think deeply and to look again at how he treats other people.
