Adam lives in destitution and cannot even pay his debts. Troubled at home as well, he keeps going by collecting and selling metal drink cans. He is treated badly almost everywhere, but there is one place where people are kind to him: the tea house in his own neighbourhood, where he often goes for cans. On his last visit something happens that will change his life. Face to face with his own will, Adam must make a choice that decides his future — but is it a choice, or a test?
