The inhabitants of a village are taken captive by an unknown gang, which begins conducting experiments on them. When the experiments fail, they are driven into the mountains to be executed. Arvin and Yejle escape and hide in a deep pit — a pit that in time becomes a coffin, and the survivors mutants.
