After the collapse of Soviet rule, a chemist at one of Azerbaijan's research institutes obtains a new solution and studies its positive and negative effects. With its help part of a person's memory can be erased — which can also be put to harmful use — and at the same time people can be freed from drug addiction and alcoholism. The results, however, are not at all what was expected.
