Between 1992 and 2002, he taught directing and acting to young students at the Ahmad Javad Baku Technical College of Culture and Education. At the "MM" LLC, which he founded in 2000, he managed nearly 100 concerts, television programs and advertising campaigns, produced 12 video films, and authored numerous television projects. From 2002 to 2006 he worked as an inspector in the Cinematography Department of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan; from 2006 he headed the state film registry sector of the Cinematography Department at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism; and from 2010 he served as deputy head of the Cinematography Department. From December 2011 to 2019 he headed the J. Jabbarli "Azerbaijanfilm" film studio. Between 2012 and 2022 he was chairman of the Azerbaijan Producers Guild, and from 2021 to 2023 he was general director of SPACE TV. In January 2025, he was elected chairman of the Azerbaijan Producers Guild.
