
Rasim Jafarov was born on 17 October 1978. He studied at the drama and film acting faculty of ASUCA, in Aliabbas Gadirov's course (1996–2000). In 1996 he made his stage debut at the Academic National Drama Theatre in an episodic role as a messenger. He then worked at the Azerbaijan State Pantomime Theatre until 2003. His first appearance in cinema was in Murad Ibrahimbeyov's film "Three Girls". He currently works as an actor at the Theatre for Young Spectators and the Azerbaijan State Yugh Theatre. On 29 July 2016 he was awarded the honorary title of Honoured Artist of Azerbaijan for his services to the development of Azerbaijani cinematography.
