Rustam Jabrayilov began his modelling career in 2005. While studying at Baku State University he was invited to take part in advertising shoots. A week later he was offered a role in advertisements for "Azercell." This success led to an invitation to take part in the qualifying rounds of the "The Best Model of Azerbaijan" national modelling competition. In November 2006, under the leadership of the People's Artist of Azerbaijan Aygun Kazimova, he took part in "The Best Model of Azerbaijan 2006" national modelling competition. He won the competition among 14 participants. In November 2007, in a competition organised under the leadership of Nahit Kabakchi and designer Fakhriyya Khalafova, he again took first place at "The Best Model of Azerbaijan 2007," becoming the winner of the competition for the second time. A month later, in December 2007, at the international "The Best Model of the World 2007" competition held in Turkey, he won first prize among participants from 90 countries. Following this achievement, he received offers to play lead roles in films and television series from Turkish film companies. Rustam Jabrayilov has also appeared at numerous international fashion weeks and has collaborated with well-known brands and companies, including Calvin Klein, Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent and many others. He has represented Azerbaijan on the global fashion stage in countries and cities such as New York, Milan, Paris, Istanbul, India, China, Indonesia and Dubai. He has been the face of various brands and has taken part in fashion shows and advertising campaigns around the world. Alongside his modelling career, Rustam has continued to act. He has played lead roles in several films, including "A Delicate Matter," based on the stories of the prominent Azerbaijani writer Mir Jalal Pashayev. He has also portrayed important characters in films related to historic events in Azerbaijan, such as the events of 20 January. In addition, Rustam Jabrayilov has actively participated in educational initiatives, holding awareness-raising sessions for young people in various regions of Azerbaijan with the support of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He has mentored young talents, some of whom have achieved success in modelling and other fields around the world.
