
Nijat Rahimov was born on 17 April 1986 in the city of Baku. In 2005 he graduated from the Art Gymnasium and entered the musical comedy acting faculty of the University of Culture and Arts, graduating from the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts in 2009. Beginning in 2006, he spent 4 years working as an actor with the "Planet Parni iz Baku" team, and later took a role in the "Bozbash Pictures" project. From 2011 to 2012 he worked as an actor at the Azerbaijan State Puppet Theatre, where he played the character Sarvar. Since 2014 he has worked at Azad Azerbaijan TV, and until 2016 he hosted the programme "Sweet Tea." The talented actor Nijat Rahimov, who skilfully played 6 characters in the series Boghlama broadcast on Azad Azerbaijan TV, is the nephew of Azerbaijan's People's Artist Yashar Nuri (his sister's son). He has taken private lessons with Ilham Namig Kamal and Teymur Amrah.
