Javanshir Oqtay oglu Maharramov was born in Baku. He began performing in drama clubs at the age of 11. Since 2002 he has been part of the Lutfi Mammadbeyov People's Theatre, where his teacher was Rafig Huseynov. Since 2005 he has worked at the Baku Children's Theatre.
