
He graduated from the Theatre Acting programme of the Hacettepe University State Conservatoire in 1990. He worked at Ankara State Theatre for one year. Between 1993 and 2001 he worked at the Antalya State Theatre Directorate. From 2002 he began working at Bursa State Theatre. Alongside his stage career, he has also taken part in numerous film and television productions. In 1997, together with Azerbaijani director Namig Aghayev, he founded "OL Theatre". The theatre''s first production was the play "Welcome, Nazim". They later staged the play "Jonathan Livingston Seagull", adapted from Richard Bach''s book of the same name.
