
Telman Adigozalov was born on 17 July 1953 in the city of Balakan. He is originally from Ordubad. While still in secondary school, he took part in acting courses. In 1975 he graduated from the drama and film acting faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts. Having begun working at the Academic National Drama Theatre in 1980, the actor created interesting characters on the theatre's stage. Among these one may note Zanjirvuran in J. Mammadguluzade's "The Madmen's Assembly," Dashdamir in I. Afandiyev's "Khurshidbanu Natavan," Rahman in "The Song Remained in the Mountains," Fleance in Shakespeare's "Macbeth," Khanahmad in M. Ibrahimov's "The Smouldering Hearths," the Trumpeter in H. Javid's "Iblis" ("The Devil"), the Jester in S. Vurghun's "Vagif," the bespectacled man in S. Rahman's "The Betrothed Girl," the Gambler in E. Bakhish's "The Night of Power," Ahmad in Elchin's "Ah Paris... Paris!..," the Professor in "My Beloved Madman," and the Gambler in R. Novruz's "They Hadn't Yet Said 'I Love You.'" The talented actor has played character roles in television productions such as "The Man with the Green Glasses," "This and That," "Neighbours," and in films made at the "Azerbaijanfilm" studio such as "Nasimi," "Facing the Wind," and "The Shore of Memories."
