
Although a gynaecologist and dermatovenereologist by profession, for 19 years she has been mastering Indian dance, both in theory and technique. She has won numerous international competitions in Indian dance, as well as taking 2nd and 3rd place as a laureate. In 2007, together with Indian dance stars, she performed the role of "Apsara" in Moscow in the first musical of its kind, called "Shivaratri." In 2008 she was awarded 1st place at the "International Indian Dance Competition" held in St. Petersburg. Finally, in October 2009, she represented Azerbaijan at the Indian culture festival "Diwali 2009" and took 1st place there. She later took part in the "3rd Open Competition of Indian Dances" and placed 3rd. Oksana speaks Hindi fluently, and also knows Azerbaijani and Russian.
