
He began appearing in films at the age of 14. At 15, all of Azerbaijan came to love him for his role as Gaga in the film "I Want Seven Sons". He was one of the first Azerbaijanis to study acting in Moscow. Although he had the chance to continue his career there, he chose to return to Baku. He is also one of the veterans of the Yugh Theatre. He was born on 5 January 1955 in Baku. From 1975 to 1979 he studied at the acting faculty of the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography in Moscow. From 1979 he began working at the Azerbaijanfilm studio. Since 1989 he has been an actor of the Yugh Theatre. He teaches acting at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts. He has played a variety of roles in the Mosfilm productions "The Most Important Task", "Victory", "I Want Seven Sons", "Case No. 777", "My Only One", "Native Shores", "The Man of the House", "I Want to Get Married", "Knight of the Black Lake", "Gazalkhan", "Shared Bread", "It's Dangerous to Go to Sea", "A Private Trip to a German Clinic", "Memory of a Dream", "The World Turned Upside Down", "Javid's Life" and "The Envoy of Dawn", "Hail", and in the television films "The Man with the Green Glasses", "Innocent Abdulla", "P.S.", "The Council of Conquerors", "Obituary", "The Invitation" and "Let's Get Married Again".
