
Aladdin Aslan oglu Abbasov was born on 5 May 1922 in the city of Ganja. At the age of fifteen he was admitted to the actors' studio attached to the Ganja State Drama Theatre. During his two years of study he worked in the theatre's support staff, appearing in crowd scenes in the plays of the repertoire. From 1939 he was a member of the acting troupe, and his entire creative life was tied to this company. On the stage of the Ganja State Drama Theatre he worked alongside such luminaries of the art as People's Artists Ashraf Yusifzade, Ramziyya khanim Veysalova, Mahammad Burjaliyev and Sadaya khanim Mustafayeva, Zulfugar Baratzade, and Honoured Art Workers of the Republic Yusif Bagirov and Hasan Aghayev. Aladdin Abbasov died on 13 July 2014 at the age of 92. He was buried in the Alley of Honour in Ganja.
