
Diana Hajiyeva was born on 13 June 1989 in the city of Mariupol, Ukraine. Involved in music from childhood, Diana took piano lessons and developed an interest in jazz music. She is also active in the music collective "Bari Bakh." In 2006 she graduated from secondary school No. 16 in Baku, after which she entered the Baku Academy of Music, mastering the profession of choral conducting. During these years she began engaging with jazz professionally. Diana currently works at the Baku Jazz Centre. In 2009 Diana married Ali Nasirov. The couple has a daughter named Savi. Diana later founded a music group called Dihaj, of which her husband is also a member. The group mainly performs music in the pop, electronic and experimental genres. Diana lived for a time in London, the capital of England, where she studied at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance.
