Interested in Turkish cuisine, Zanna moved from Italy to Turkey seeking to build a career in this field. After arriving in Turkey he opened a restaurant serving both Italian and Turkish cuisine. He later began appearing on television programmes, making his first appearance as an assistant chef on the programme 'Zahide ile Hayata Yetiş'. Zanna became widely known through the cooking programme 'İtalyan İşi', which he devised and hosted himself on the Planet Mutfak television channel. In Turkey he conducted research into Italian cuisine at the Istanbul Culinary Institute of Kadir Has University, which showcases the restaurant culture of various countries. After Planet Mutfak was shut down, from 2015 he continued to appear on screen in 'Elin Oğlu', broadcast on atv, and in the programme 'Lezzetin Şarkısı', which he devised and hosted himself on NTV. Since 2019 Zanna has served as a jury member on the third season of the programme 'MasterChef Türkiye', broadcast on TV8.
