
He has composed music for films at the Jafar Jabbarli Azerbaijanfilm film studio. He has designed the sound and music for more than 50 films. From 2016 to 2019 he worked as a sound director at the recording studio of the Azerbaijan Television and Radio Closed Joint-Stock Company. He was the sound specialist for the "Audiobook" project. He has taken part in courses led by Eduard Artemyev (Stalker, Mirror, Siberiade), Michael Price (Sherlock, The Hobbit "music editing," Dracula) and Alla Zagaykevych (Mamay, Second Hand, The Guide). In 2017 he took part in the "Envision Sounds" programme organised by the Dovzhenko Centre in Kyiv and the British Council. In 2018, as a finalist of that programme, he was invited to the "Mute Nights" international film festival for composers and musicians. In the final he wrote music for the 1928 film Underground by British director Anthony Asquith. The film was screened with live instruments at the Dovzhenko Centre's cinema hall as part of the festival. It was also re-screened with live instruments at the "Flame Towers" cinema in Baku, organised by the British Council Azerbaijan. From 2018 to 2019 he took part in master classes on LOLA technologies at the Tallinn Academy of Music and Theatre and the Prague Academy of Music. In 2022 his work was performed at the Elements FMT festival in Prague. In 2023 he took part in the "Commute" audiovisual and electronic music festival in Estonia. He teaches at the Composition Department of the Uzeyir Hajibeyli Baku Academy of Music. He works mainly on film and theatre music. He is a member of the Azerbaijan Union of Composers. He is head of the music department and a member of the artistic council of the Azerbaijan State National Drama Theatre. He also works as a music editor at Azerbaijan Radio. He is a member of the board of the Azerbaijan Union of Cinematographers and the Azerbaijan Guild of Film Directors.
